Finding the Time

This year has been so amazing and so tumultuous that I am so thankful to take a moment just to relax.

Children’s Theater: Flight School!

I jumped on board recently with Vital Theatre Company and have been working like a madwoman on their production of the new musical Flight School!  It’s the cutest thing about a penguin who wants to learn to fly and we just got our first review!

If you’d like to come see it please do! It’s really adorable and you can contact me to get discounted tickets! We run Saturdays and Sundays at 1 pm at the YMCA on 63rd and Central Park West. The entrance to the Marjorie S Deane Little Theater is on 64th on the south side closest to CPW. We will be running until October 31st so see it while you can!

Award Winning: Merrily We Roll Along

In my time here in New York I have been so privileged to work on so many amazing projects and meet so many amazing artists. On September 21st, I was lucky enough to attend my first awards ceremony for the New York Innovative Theater Awards where the show I worked on from March to May was both nominated for Outstanding Musical and one of my actors was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Featured Role. I am so happy to have been a part of an amazing team and so proud of the work we did for the sake of theatre. This award is just icing on the cake.

Moving Onwards and Upwards, and What to Bring for the Ride

I apologize for being away for so long from my blog, I had real life responsibilities to take care of.  Namely, I closed on Pericles back in early March, had my first ‘professional’ production for Belarusian Dream Theatre to bring awareness to what’s going on in Belarus, closed on my Assistant Directing gig for a new play called Higher Brain Function, and finally graduated University after many trials and heartaches.  So as you can tell, life has been a little busy.
